Do you need help on giving your/someone else's MeDoll a makeover? Stuck for ideas? Here's some friendly step-by-step tips for you!
1. You need an outfit first. Be creative! I used Ella's doll for an example. This is her outfit. Four different brands of clothing (pretty in pink skirt, rio shoes, bisou belt and decades top) together to make one outfit. Your outfit does not have to match your suite unless you are serious about it. If you want, you can add accesories like free things, necklaces, e.t.c. that go with the outfit you are making. Remember, be creative, mix it up!
2. Now for the MeDoll. To start, make-up. You will need to start with some blush (if you/they have any) make sure it is not too dark/light for the skin. Apply it, making sure it matches the outfit you chose earlier.
3. Next, eyeshadow. Make it lighter, eyes need lighter colours, not darker ones. I used white for this example (if you/they have any) but you can use any light coloured one you/they have. Also remember it must match your outfit!
4. Now, it's Mascara. Black is the best, apply it (if you/they have any) and usually black is the best colour, unless it matches your outfit, purple and white is not really good to use. It's too much colour for the eyelashes.
5. Now, eyeliner. Black is best again, (if you/they have any) as the others, unless using eye kohl, do not really work well, depending on your outfit you chose.
6. Next is lipstick. If you have Luxe (glittery/shiny, if you/they have any) Lipgloss or lipstick, do NOT put both at once, unless the lipstick is a light colour, otherwise it looks like too much. If you have DOT lipstick, use a matching to your outfit colour, and you can put LUXE Lipgloss over the top if you wish.
7. ACCESORIES! The killer. The accesories look
bad if they do not match your outfit in any way, shape or form. You can start with earrings, (if you/they have any) there are many earrings, everyone probably has at least one pair. You do NOT need them, only if you wish to have them. Try not to look too Glitterati.
8. Finally, headwear/jewellery. For this (if you/they have any) you can add glasses/sunnies, necklaces, hairties/bows/headbands e.t.c. and so forth. Try to remember that it ALL must match the outfit you chose earlier. Once you have done that...
...YOU'RE DONE!
See, wasn't so hard, was it? ;) Remember where you learnt it from! What do you think? Comment and let us know!
Enjoy!
